Designed for any EV Plugin, Autonomous Fleets, with computerized infrastructure, Residential, Solar, and all Electric Vehicles, including Plug-in Hybrids, also Eco iiiX and iiX 

solar-powered electric vehicle charger has been created Called an Eco Solar Station, it employs solar panels to recharge electric vehicles, even two at the same time.  EV charger can charge a Prius hybrid plug-in in 1.5 hours, a Chevy Volt in 5 hours, and a Nissan Leaf in eight.

The advantage of the Eco Solar Station is that they can be installed just about anywhere, as long as there is enough sunlight. (Most EV chargers need to be located near a conventional power supply.)

 

Eco Solar Stations can be used for power needs other than electric vehicles, such as homes or small businesses after an electrical outage from a storm. There may also be interest for use in other countries where there is no grid, and no or little electricity. An Eco Solar Stations might actually be able to provide electricity to an entire village in some remote areas.


some companies, like Starbucks, have expressed interest. Organizations with large staff may consider them also as a perk for their employees, such as high-tech companies in Silicon Valley. At the search engine called Infoseek years ago, there was at least one EV charger in the company parking lot where the CEO would charge his EV-1.

Commercial trucks can't use the same charging infrastructure as passenger cars. Trucks will need bigger battery packs, requiring higher-power stations and drawing more energy. Stations will also need to be designed to accommodate large commercial vehicles.

electric vehicles will stick to what the trucking industry calls a "return to base" model, with vehicles never straying far from a central terminal. This ensures they will never be far from a charging station. That's already how many commercial fleets operate, But at Eco we plan on changing the infrastructure so we can provide stations every 50 miles down a corridor.

Electric commercial vehicles encompass more than just long-haul trucks.  electric vans for short-haul delivery services in urban areas, for example.

Larger trucks can be used in short hauls as well. We at Eco have many solutions that prove we can extend these vehicles as well by reengineering the refrigerator sections and trailer sections extending the range.

Our recent addition to the innovative range is the use of solar panels to power the refrigeration units. This application is suitable for refrigerated trucks & trailers designed to maintain refrigerated conditions of the unit, which must be able to operate at both freezer (0°F) and refrigeration (38°F) conditions.
Developed specifically to power the transport refrigeration unit (TRU) and maintain the battery charge, the new Thin-Film Flexible Solar Panels are easily installed on the roofs of trailers, truck bodies. The unit saves fuel and reduces downtime lost to dead batteries that may be drained by not keeping the engine running to power the refrigerated trailer.
